Qualifications:
Bidders must be properly licensed and qualified under applicable laws governing their respective trades and demonstrate experience performing similar restoration and exterior improvement projects. Contractors shall be capable of obtaining all required insurance and must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and requirements, including those related to safety, labor, and nondiscrimination. Bidders shall provide evidence of their qualifications and ability to successfully complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents.
Special Requirements:
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the project site, and attendance is required for all prospective bidders. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes on the forms provided, prior to the specified deadline, and clearly labeled in accordance with the bid instructions. Contractors are responsible for reviewing all contract documents, visiting the project site, and accounting for existing conditions when preparing their bids. No late submissions will be accepted.

GENERAL MASONRY CLEANING NOTES
1. PROTECT NON-MASONRY SURFACES INCLUDING BUT NOT
LIMITED TO ROOFS, WINDOWS UNIT, GLASS, FRAMES, TRIM,
AND ANY ELEMENTS ADJACENT TO MASONRY WORK.
2. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ONE SAMPLE AREA OF EACH
CLEANING METHOD IN A LIMITED VISIBILITY LOCATION
WHERE DIRECTED BY THE OWNER AND ARCHITECT. UPON
APPROVAL OF THE CLEANING METHODS, SAMPLE AREA SHALL
BE MAINTAINED FOR THE DURATION OF THE WORK AND WILL
SERVE AS REFERENCE FOR THE EXECUTION OF THE
REMAINDER OF WORK. UPON COMPLETION OF OVERALL
WORK, SAMPLE AREA MAY BE RE-TOUCHED IF THE COURSE
OF WORK REVEALS METHODS WITH IMPROVED RESULTS.
3. CONTRACTOR SHALL MONITOR CONDITIONS INTERIOR AND
EXTERIOR OF THE BUILDING DURING THE APPLICATION OF
WATER TO ASSURE THAT CLEANING DOES NOT CAUSE
WATER ENTRY TO THE INTERIOR AS WELL AS PROPER
CONTROL OF RUNOFF WATER TO THE EXTERIOR. IF
UNDESIRABLE CONDITIONS OCCUR DURING CLEANING,
WATER APPLICATION SHALL BE STOPPED UNTIL SAID
CONDITION IS RESOLVED.
