Project Description: NOTE: Please note that this procurement is a re-issuance of the procurement that was released on August 28, 2024 and cancelled on October 4, 2024. Details regarding that procurement can be found on Bonfire at https://mtc.bonfirehub.com/opportunities/144240. Revisions to the original procurement that are reflected in this Reissuance are indicated in track changes in the file named “Reissuance Revisions” uploaded separately onto Bonfire.
The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (“MTC”) invites firms on the 2023 Transportation Electrification Planning and Technical Assistance (“Bench”) under Service Category B: Fleet Electrification Planning to assist MTC with the Local Public Fleet Electrification Planning Technical Assistance (“Project”). Through this Mini-RFP, MTC will select up to six different firms to work on the different Projects below and as described in Appendix A, Scope of Work.
Project 1 - Alameda and Contra Costa
Project 2 - Marin
Project 3 - Napa and Sonoma
Project 4 - San Francisco and BART
Project 5 - San Mateo
Project 6 - Solano
The selected consultants will work with San Francisco Bay Area local public agencies to assess their vehicle fleets and develop fleet transition and infrastructure development plans. Note that this technical assistance excludes planning for revenue fleets of agencies operating transit service. Please see Attachment A, Scope of Work for more details.
In an effort to spread the work and allow multiple firms the opportunity to be awarded projects, award of the Projects will be made pursuant to Section VIII. Award. Please see Section VIII. Award for details.
