Specifications for Stone and Gravel AggregatesThis IFB is to solicit bids for stone and gravel aggregates for use in the maintenance ofroads and bridges maintained by the Hamilton County Highway Department.Coarse aggregates, fine aggregates, and rip rap shall be in accordance with the mostrecent version of the Indiana Department of Transportation (“INDOT”) StandardSpecifications. Aggregates used for chip seal shall meet the requirements for Class A or Baggregates. The bid price for all sizes of aggregates shall include FOB County trucks.Aggregates, except fine aggregates used for snow and ice abrasives and those labeled(Commercial Grade), shall be supplied by a Certified Aggregate Producer in accordancewith Section 917 of the most recent version of the INDOT Standard Specifications.The successful Bidder on aggregates for chip seal will be required to have a minimum of2,000 tons of #11 stone in stockpile.
