Janitorial Services Contract

The Western Virginia Water Authority (WVWA or Authority), is requesting sealed bids for a contract to provide Janitorial Services for the Field Operations Division building located at 3322 Hollins Rd.NE, and the Warehouse and Storage Facility at the ULS Lot located at 3347 Hollins Rd NE, Roanoke, VA.

Two (2) complete copies of the sealed bid will be received at and until 2:00 P.M. (local prevailing time) on December 12, 2024, in the office of the FIELD OPERATIONS DIVISION, 3322 Hollins Road, NE, Roanoke, VA 24012.  Any responses received after the above date and time will be returned to the offeror unopened.  All responses must have the BID number and title clearly marked on the envelope.  You must complete and sign the Contract and BID form.  No faxed bids shall be accepted.  All responses shall be submitted in a sealed envelope/package, clearly marked;

The Authority will provide the mechanism for evaluation of all information received; the final determination of responsible offerors and reserves the right to waive informalities and irregularities and to accept or reject any or all bids.

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on site at 3322 Hollins Road, N.E., Roanoke, VA 24012, on December 4, 2024 at 2:00 P.M.

The work is generally described as:  Provide general Janitorial Services for the Authority’s Field Operations Facility located at 3322 Hollins Rd. NE and at the Warehouse and Storage Facility at 3447 Hollins Rd NE, Roanoke, VA.

It is the responsibility of the Bidder to check the Authority’s website for any addenda that may be issued prior to the Bid Opening.  Bidder must acknowledge all issued addenda on Bid Form.  Failure to do so shall be grounds for rejection of the bid.  Bidders are referred to the Code of Virginia, Public Procurement Act § 2.2-4300 et seq. to review the process for competitive sealed bidding.
