Project Description

The City operates under a decentralized procurement system; individual Departments are responsible for purchasing those goods and services required to perform their functions. The Procurement Division acts as a liaison between Departments, responsible for administering & enforcing purchasing policies & procedures; identifying & establishing procurement strategies, methods & processes; and providing assistance with solicitation development, negotiations & contract awards.

The City is accepting bid proposals to hire a qualified contractor to replace the roofing system over the third-floor wing at the Department of Public Works building , located at 800 Rabbitt Road, Gaithersburg, Maryland 20878 (“Facility”). The existing roofing system is a black EPDM roof assembly with aluminum gutters and downspouts. The facility is open Monday – Friday 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
