FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR SOLAR-POWERED E-BIKE CHARGING STATIONS. The City of Preston is seeking proposals from interested and qualified consultants to develop a feasibility study for solar-powered e-bike charging stations in the cities of Preston and Lanesboro, located in Southeast Minnesota along the Root River. The RFP is available on the City of Preston’s Economic Development Authority News website . Proposals (PDF format) are due via email to Michelle Marotzke , Economic Development Director, by Wednesday, April 15, 2026, by 4 p.m. Questions may be directed to Michelle via email or telephone at 507-765-2153.
