• Summary Denver is seeking the professional services of an on-call sustainability and technical services firm or firms to assist with various tasks to inform policy, programs, incentives, education and outreach efforts. The city anticipates awarding multiple contracts.

Goal

The city is looking for professional services from one or more energy, sustainability or resiliency consulting firms. These firms will provide on-call services to support the Office of Climate Action, Sustainability, and Resiliency. These firms will help the city analyze, design, and implement programs and policies include but are not limited to:

• Existing and new building decarbonization
• Deployment of heat pumps
• Distributed energy resources
• Vehicle electrification
• Resilience landscape design
• Ecosystem services
• Climate resiliency
• Green workforce
• Environmental justice

• Zero waste and water

Required Insurance

The city does not negotiate insurance requirements or contract insurance language. Any objections not raised formally during the selection process are waived.

It is strongly recommended that all applicants prepare a Certificate of Insurance (COI) for all insurance as soon as possible to expedite the contracting process.

Review the Sample Agreement for the required insurance amounts under paragraph 9 of this RFP. The required insurance coverages are:

• Workers’ Compensation and Employer’s Liability Insurance
• Commercial General Liability
• Business Automobile Liability
