Description: The City of Liberal is seeking sealed bids to perform demolition, backfill, compaction, and grading work at the Adventure Bay Family Water Park. Please refer to the Bid Specifications provided in this bid posting. Publication Date/Time: 3/11/2026 8:00 AM Closing Date/Time: 4/13/2026 3:00 PM Submittal Information: Sealed bids due to Liberal City Hall, City Clerk's Office. Bid Opening Information: 4/13/26 @ 3 PM, City Hall Contact Person: Alicia Hidalgo, City Clerk (620) 626-2204 alicia.hidalgo@cityofliberal.org 324 N. Kansas Ave., Liberal, KS 67901 Qualifications: Qualified bidders must carry appropriate certificates of insurance. Change orders will not be accepted without prior approval from an authorized representative. Compliance with all applicable laws and statutory regulations is required. The City requires a current City of Liberal Contractors and business license from the Bidder. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. The City does not pre-pay for projects. Terms will be negotiated prior to signing a formal contract. The City will obtain any necessary permits. Contractor is responsible for site safety, debris removal, and protection of adjacent property. Special Requirements: Bids shall be submitted in sealed, hard copy format to the City Clerk, City of Liberal, 324 N. Kansas Ave., Liberal, KS 67901. Sealed bid packages must be clearly labeled on the outside as “Pool Demo Bid.” Bidders must use the bid sheet provided and provide proof of current business insurance.
