Description: Notice of Request for Proposals (RFP) for Immediate Animal Placement Mariposa County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control is responsible for governing the care and keeping of domestic animals and livestock impounded pursuant to the California Food and Agriculture Code and local ordinance to maintain public safety and welfare. Mariposa County is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide guaranteed immediate placement services for up to 30 dogs and 10 cats per month. The vendor(s) will be responsible for the fostering and adoption of all animals received. The vendor will be responsible for the intake of up to 30 dogs and 10 cats per month. The vendor will accept incoming animals within 48 hours of notification. The vendor will be responsible for fostering or adopting out all animals received from Mariposa County Animal Control. Proposals will be received no later than August 15th, 2025. Selection will conclude on September 1, 2025, and selection will be made no later than September 8, 2025. Cost Per Animal: Vendors will submit costs for intake per dog and per cat.
