Background

The City of Pontiac owns and maintains an extensive network of street lighting infrastructure that is critical to public safety, traffic operations, and neighborhood livability. This system consists of approximately 2,500 City-owned street lights and poles, including a mix of LED and high-pressure sodium fixtures of varying wattages, located throughout the City.

To ensure reliable operation, timely repairs, and proactive upkeep of this infrastructure, the City is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced contractors to provide comprehensive street light maintenance and repair services. These services include routine and emergency repairs, preventative maintenance, material replacement, and coordination with relevant utilities and agencies, all in compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local regulations and safety standards.
