(prevailing local time) on the 7thday of May, 2026, at the office of the Cole County Commission, and at that time will be publicly opened and read. A hardcopy of the specifications will not be provided but an 11"x17" hard copy of the plans will be provided upon request inadvance.A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on April 28th, 2026 at 9:00 o'clock AM (Prevailing local time) at the Cole CountyFire Protection District Administration Building, 5206 Monticello Road, Jefferson City, MO 65109. All bidders areurged to attend.This contract requires payment of the prevailing hourly rate of wages for each craft or type of work required toexecute the contract as determined by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, and requiresadherence to a schedule of minimum wages as determined by the United States Department of Labor. For workperformed anywhere on this project, the contractor and the contractor’s subcontractors shall pay the higher of thesetwo applicable wage rates. The applicable state wage rates for this contract are detailed in “Annual Wage Order 32”,that is attached to this bidding document. The applicable federal wage rates for this contract are the effective Davis-Bacon federal wage rates posted the tenth day before the bid opening date and can be found at:https://sam.gov/content/wage-determinations. These supplemental bidding documents have important legalconsequences.
