Said work to be done strictly in accord with GCCD's rehabilitationpolicies and procedures. The construction work will be performed at the property owned by andlocated atProperty Owner(s): Angela GermanyProperty Address: 1126 Branch’s Circle, Moore Haven, FL 33471THE WORK WRITE-UP/BID FORM IS A GENERAL OUTLINE OF THE WORK TO BE PERFORMED. PLEASEREFER TO THE PROJECT SPECIFICATION BOOKLET FOR DETAILED INSTRUCTION FOR EACH ITEM NOTEDBELOW. Do not include labor amount per item in your figures below, Labor is now a separate item. Also,when you are able to indicate the name of the product and or manufacturer, such as air conditioner,Rheem or Goodman.Item Description1. WINDOWS – REMOVAL AND REPLACEMENTA. Remove and replace six (6) existing exterior windows with new,code-compliant units. Windows and exterior doors shall comply withthe 2023 Florida Building Code (8th Edition). Impact-resistantproducts or approved opening protection shall be provided whererequired by location in a Wind-Borne Debris Region or HVHZ. Whereimpact protection is not required, openings shall meet requireddesign pressure ratings and product approval criteria. Each windowshall meet the following minimum criteria:a. Product Approval Florida Product Approval or Miami-DadeNOA required.b. Documentation to be provided in permit submittal package.Wind Load / Design Pressure Rated to meet or exceedrequired design pressures per FBC Residential Chapter 3 forthe structure location. Energy Efficiency Comply withFlorida Energy Conservation Code requirements forfenestration (U-factor and SHGC).c. Glazing & Safety glazing required where applicable per FBCSection R308.Price EstimatePage 13 of 26Revised 05/27/2025B. Installation: Installed per manufacturer instructions and FBC Chapter7. Proper flashing, sealing, shimming, and anchorage required .Allfasteners shall be corrosion-resistant. Finish Window framecolor/style to be compatible with existing dwelling unless otherwisedirected by SHIP administrator.C. Removal and Disposal: Remove existing windows and doors withoutdamage to surrounding structure. Inspect rough openings fordamage or rot. Make minor framing repairs as necessary to ensuresound substrate for installation. Dispose of removed materials inaccordance with local regulations. Provide full perimeter flashing atall window and door openings. Seal all penetrations with approvedwaterproof sealants. Installation shall ensure resistance to wind-driven rain per FBC Section R703.$2. EXTERIOR SWING DOORSA. Remove and replace two (2) existing exterior swing doors with new,code-compliant units. Windows and exterior doors shall comply withthe 2023 Florida Building Code (8th Edition). Impact-resistantproducts or approved opening protection shall be provided whererequired by location in a Wind-Borne Debris Region or HVHZ. Eachexterior swing door shall meet the following:I. Product Approval Florida Product Approval or Miami-Dade NOArequired.II. Configuration Swing direction to match existing unlessotherwise approved.III. Threshold height compliant with accessibility and weatherrequirements.IV. Wind Resistance Design pressure rating per FBC for exterioropenings. Energy EfficiencyV. Insulated exterior door meeting FBC Energy requirements.VI. Hardware New lockset and hinges included.VII. Deadbolt required. InstallationVIII. Proper anchorage to framing.IX. Weather-stripped and fully sealed to prevent air and waterintrusion.B. Remove existing windows and doors without damage to surroundingstructure. Inspect rough openings for damage or rot. Make minorframing repairs as necessary to ensure sound substrate forinstallation. Dispose of removed materials in accordance with localregulations. Provide full perimeter flashing at all window and dooropenings. Seal all penetrations with approved waterproof sealants.Installation shall ensure resistance to wind-driven rain per FBCSection R703.$3. EXTERIOR OUTSWING FRENCH DOORSA. Remove and replace one (1) existing set of exterior outswing Frenchdoors. Windows and exterior doors shall comply with the 2023Florida Building Code (8th Edition). Impact-resistant products orapproved opening protection shall be provided where required bylocation in a Wind-Borne Debris Region or HVHZ. Each exteriorFrench door shall meet the following:I. Product Approval Florida Product Approval or Miami-DadeNOA for complete door assembly.Page 14 of 26Revised 05/27/2025II. Configuration Outswing operation.III. Active and inactive leaf properly secured.IV. Wind Load & Impact (if applicable) Rated for required designpressures.V. Impact-rated glazing or code-compliant shutter protection, asapplicable.VI. Glazing & Safety Glazing per FBC Section R308.VII. Sill & Threshold Weather-tight, properly flashed, and sealed.VIII. Hardware Multipoint locking system or approved lockinghardware per manufacturer.B. Remove existing windows and doors without damage to surroundingstructure. Inspect rough openings for damage or rot. Make minorframing repairs necessary to ensure sound substrate for installation.Dispose of removed materials in accordance with local regulations.Provide full perimeter flashing at all window and door openings. Sealall penetrations with approved waterproof sealants. Installation shallensure resistance to wind-driven rain per FBC Section R703.surfacewith troweled adhesive. After at least 24 hours drying time, applylatex based Portland cement grout. Clean all excess grout and applymildew resistant white silicone caulk at all seams.C. PREP & PAINT ROOM w/ PAINTED TRIM-LOW VOC Using lead safework practices remove & dispose of all loose material & dust prior toinstallation of new materials. All cracked or loose plaster is to berepaired with a bedding coat of Durabond & fiberglass mesh tape. Ifplaster & lath boards are loose, resecure or remove & replace it withdrywall patch. Sanding of any surfaces contacting or adjoining a lead-based painted surface shall be done with appropriate proceduressuch as using a HEPA filtered sanding vacuum or a wet sandingmethod. Prime as necessary to seal stains, raw plaster, etc. Paintceilings two coats in flat ceiling white & walls in eggshell or satinfinish cut-in neatly to trim & at all corners & edges. Prep trim doorsand windows by de-glossing painted trim prior to painting and prepall doors to be painted. Apply two coats of latex semi-gloss paint tocover completely & uniformly. Colors are the choice of the ownerfrom stock colors. Maximum of 2 color choices for interior. All paintsand primers must not exceed the following maximum VOCrequirements: Flats 50 g/L; Non-flats 50 g/L; Floor 100 g/L; Anti-corrosive 250 g/L. All adhesives must comply with Rule 1168 of theSouth Coast Air Quality ManagementDistrict.www.aqmd.gov/rules/reg/reg11/r1168.pdf All caulks andsealants must comply with Regulation 8, Rule 51, of the Bay Area AirQuality Management District (BAAQMD).$4.
