Form Details (Abstract): Auction 63561 Status Active Abstract Negotiation Number 63561 Negotiation Type Auction Title Rolling Acres Water Main Replacement Description Replacement of approximately 496 feet of 4 inch water main, 5,391 feet of 8 inch water main, and relocation of approximately 244 feet of 4 inch water main, 1,771 feet of 8 inch water main, and installation of 19 fire hydrants and water house connections for 155 properties to serve Dale Drive, Phillips Drive, Carnot Drive, Basel Drive, Farrar Court, Farrar Terrace, Dakin Court, Angora Terrace and Angora Court in Upper Marlboro and Cheltenham of Prince George’s County. The Project is MDE SRF Loan funded. The applicable State Insert titled Requirements and Contract Provisions for the Treatment Works Projects Financed through the Maryland Water Quality Loan Fund and the Maryland Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund, Department of the Environment, State of Maryland, and other requirements are incorporated in the contract documents. The bidders should make note of the special additional requirements imposed through the use of this funding such as but not limited to the use of Davis-Bacon Wage Rates, the use of American Iron and Steel (AIS) products, the use of American made manufactured products and construction materials as mandated by the Build America Buy America Act (BABA), the submission of AIS and BABA material certifications to WSSC Water, and installation of the MDE/ EPA project sign. The EPA final guidance documents for AIS and BABA are incorporated in these contract documents for reference. Please Note: This project is a lump sum bid. Bidder shall provide a lump sum bid in the bid schedule. In addition, the Bidder shall complete the lump sum breakdown (providing the Total Price).
