The City of Silverton is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFP) for a fully comprehensive pool feasibility study. The City of Silverton is the owner of the municipal pool located at 601 Miller St in Silverton Oregon. The City of Silverton shares a partnership with the YMCA to operate the municipal pool year-round.

The City of Silverton had a feasibility study done in 2016. Since the last feasibility study, city staff have completed many of the suggestions that came from that feasibility study. The pool was constructed in 1938 with an opening date of 1940. Although many recommended repairs were made since the 2016 feasibility study, there have been concerns brought forward questioning the pool operation. Concerns such as the overall condition of the pool, and the life span of the pool.

Interested parties must attend the mandatory site visit on March 26, 2026, 10 AM (pst) in order to qualify. Meeting location will be held at the city’s pool located at 601 Miller St Silverton, OR 97381
