LEGAL NOTICESealed bids will be received by the City Engineer on behalf of the Director of Administration, City ofWooster, State of Ohio, at the office of said City Engineer, 538 N. Market Street, Wooster, Ohio, 44691until twelve o'clock noon, Tuesday, April 28, 2026 for the Gasche Street Improvements in accordancewith the specifications on file in said office.Project Description: Project includes improvements to the portion of Gasche Street between E. WayneAvenue and Winter Street, including pavement widening, construction of concrete curbs and driveapproaches, asphalt pavement planing and resurfacing, and replacement of storm sewers.Project Cost: The Engineer’s estimated construction cost for this project is $1,200,000Project Completion Date: November 30, 2026Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same, and beaccompanied by a bidding bond or a certified check in the amount of 10% of the bid price as a guarantythat if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance secured OR provide acontract bond for 100% of the bid amount.Copies of the contract documents are on file in the office of the City Engineer, City of Wooster, Ohio andare available for inspection by prospective bidders in the office or on the city’s bidding informationwebpage https://www.woosteroh.com/engineering/bidding-information. Bidders must register for theplans through the city’s ViewPoint website. Bidders must be registered for their bids to be considered.Bid book and plans will be sent electronically.Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Wayne County and theCity of Wooster, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations.All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable use OhioProducts, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project.
