Request for Qualifications

Pinellas County Convention and Visitors Bureau, dba Visit St. Pete-Clearwater (VisitSPC), is soliciting proposals from firms to provide professional in-market marketing representation for the Mid-Atlantic Region, which includes the Greater Washington D.C. area, Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia and North Carolina for the purpose of increasing meetings and conference tourism in Pinellas County.

Background

The St. Pete/Clearwater area has been the leading destination on the Gulf Coast in the U.S., drawing more than 16 million visitors and 6.4 million room nights in FY24. World-class beaches and 24 dynamic communities packed with culture and adventure await in St. Pete/Clearwater, the jewel of Florida’s west coast.

VisitSPC functions as the official tourism marketing and management organization for Pinellas County, including its 24 municipalities. VisitSPC develops and implements year-round, domestic, and selected international consumer and trade-based sales and marketing programs aimed at general consumers, meeting/event planners, sports organizers, film producers, journalists, travel industry representatives, and other target audiences to improve the overall economic footprint of tourism to the County.
