A five (5) year contract is being proposed, with a two (2) one year optional extensions after that. The City of Grand Island has a population of over 50,000, approximately 550 full-time and part-time employees and a 2024–2025 budget totaling approximately $300m. The City of Grand Island’s fiscal year begins on October 1st and ends on September 30th.
