Description: The City of Union City is soliciting informal bids from qualified Contractors for the Union City Library Partial Roof Replacement, City Project No. 26-21.  Work generally includes all labor and materials necessary to install new 60 mill TPO roof system of the Library building.  Contractor shall also remove and replace transition flashing at parapet walls and transitions. Contractor shall replace all existing walking maps with new ones. At transitions with exiting tiles, Contractor shall temporally remove the two bottom rows of tiles to install TPO and re-install existing tiles above the TPO. Contractor shall clean entire (the areas of work only) roof and rainwater downspouts, remove all pine needles and other debris. Drains currently do not have grates. Contractor is to add new dome grates to all of the existing drawings.   Contractor shall water test repaired roof to ensure water leaks are repaired. Engineer’s estimate is $199,000.
