Merwin Meadows Pond Dredging & Beach Restoration

W&S PROJECT #: ENG25-0462

To be considered as part of the contract drawings and specifications and all other contract

documents for the project referenced above; superseding previously issued Drawings,

Specifications, Bidding Requirements, Contract Documents and Addenda, to the extent

modified by this Addendum. Bidders are advised that this Addendum must be

acknowledged in the appropriate space provided on the bid form.

The following items are listed in this Addendum:

A. INFORMATION BULLETIN

1. Please note, the deadline for sealed bids has been moved to Wednesday, March

11 at 4:00 p.m. prevailing time per the specification edits below. This date has

been revised in anticipation of receipt of prevailing wage rates. Another

addendum shall be issued with wage rates to be included under Section 00 43

43.

B. SEPCIFICATION EDITS

1. In the invitation to bid, replace the first sentence of the first paragraph as follows:

“Sealed bids for the Merwin Meadows Pond Dredging and Beach Restoration,

RFP # 2026-02 will be received by the Town of Wilton until 4:00 P.M. on

Wednesday, March 11, 2026 (the “Submission Deadline”).”

2. In the ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS”, SECTION 00 11 13, replace the first

sentence of the first paragraph as follows: “Sealed bids for construction of Merwin

Meadows Pond Dredging & Beach Restoration Project for the Town of Wilton, will

be received at the Wilton Town Hall First Selectman’s Office, 238 Danbury Road,

Wilton, Connecticut 06897, Attention: Steve Pierce, Parks & Recreation Director

on or before Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., at which time and place

said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.”

3. In the INSTRUCTION TO BIDDERS”, SECTION 00 21 13, replace the third

paragraph under item “10. CONTRACT TIME”, as follows: “The Owner wishes to

proceed with this project as soon as possible. Bidders should be prepared to

commence work on or about March 23, 2026 , and should not bid for this

contract if they will be unable to meet the Owner’s project schedule.”
