Background

The City of Richmond’s Department of Planning and Development Review uses a third party contractor to perform all plan reviews for elevating equipment, issuance of permits, permit inspections, scheduling and performance of routine, Category 1 and 5 inspections. There are approximately 2,000 elevating equipment within the City of Richmond.
