What is the budget for this work?
Question
$200,000.00
Response
Should the audit be conducted across all ESCs, or have specific ESCs been identified?
Do any of the requested tools and templates already exist (e.g., stakeholder mapping guide,
messaging frameworks, engagement protocols)? What components of these tools and
templates should be customizable?
Should the training modules and facilitation guides assume in-person delivery; virtual
delivery; or a hybrid? Should they assume asynchronous or synchronous delivery? How
many training modules are requested?
Do draft sample implementation calendars exist?
Do draft survey data collection tools exist?
What will TEA’s role be in the development and dissemination of tools? What will ESC 20’s
role be?
What is the desired timeline for the audit? For development of the tools and templates? For
the collaborative sessions with the Stakeholder Engagement Hub?
All 20 ESCs should be included.
There are tools and templates on the TIA Website. The requested tools would be additional and
should be customizable by ESCs and districts.
The training modules should be provided in versions that can be done in each modality. The
expecation is one per month.
Yes. All approved, exisiting resources are located on the TIA website.
Yes. All approved, exisiting resources are located on the TIA website.
TEA will monitor progress toward grant goals and approve deliverables. ESC-20 will provide
deliverables to ESCs and school systems and facilitate training and modeling of usage.
ESC-20 will create timeines for specific deliverables throughout the contract period.
The request states that the materials being developed are for aspiring superintendents as
well as those supporting superintendents. Would you please clarify what positions are being
referred to when stating "those supporting superintendents"? Are these Assistant
Superintendents, Administrative Assistants, other district-level staff, school boards, and/or
ESC staff? The response to this question will make a large difference in the amount of
materials, as well as the content that is needed for the materials.
Yes. Proposals can include any recommendations related to targeted staff.
The request states that it is a cohort-based experience for training, coaching, and
development. Is the experience intended to be in-person, virtual, or a hybrid?
Primarily virtual.
Because it would greatly impact cost, will the audit of existing resources and practices
across all 20 ESCs require travel across the entire state for in-person meetings, or is it
expected that it would be completed virtually?
This can be done virtually.
Is there a particular system that is expected to be used to gather feedback and keep
communities informed?
The contracted entity will propose these methods.
How frequently are the survey data collection tools to be used and feedback to be given? Is
this for all ESCs? Districts?
All ESCs and Districts - Quarterly feedback as well as deliverable-specific feedback.
Do all of the ESCs use a common platform for completing work, such as Microsoft or
Google?
No.
Is there a particular expectation for the quantity of customizable tools and templates to be
used by ESCs and districts? Is it reasonable to think that the quantity would depend on what
the audit results show for each of the ESCs?
Yes.
Is there a defined requirement for the quantity, format, or length of the collaborative sessions
with the Stakeholder Engagement Hub? Who will the audience(s) be? EPCE or all
stakeholders? If for all stakeholders, are different materials and sessions required for each
group of stakeholders?
Different materials for different stakeholders. Weekly sessions with ESC-20 staff.
