Description: The project is in a segment of Bale Slough- Bear Creek stretching located just West of State Highway 29 on Bella Union and Grgich Hills Wineries in Napa County. The work will consist of demolition, excavation and off-haul organic material, grading, construction of biotechnical stabilization structures and habitat features, installation of native plants, maintenance and monitoring of installed plantings for a period of three years, and deployment of erosion control measures. The Engineer’s estimate for construction of the project is $2,566,700. Contractors will meet in front parking lot of Bella Union Vineyard located at 1695 St. Helena Hwy, St Helena, off Hwy 29. We will drive into the project site as a group and walk the project reach. Any contractor failing to sign up for and complete a mandatory site visit will be disqualified from the bidding process.
