It is used in live fire ranges and has the ability to absorb multiple different calibers of rounds to avoid ricochet and other hazards to the trainee.

Amidon Ballistic Concrete¢ç has a greater compressive strength, while still having the same bullet stopping capability, which makes for more stable structures, and is safer for use in two story training structures. Amidon Ballistic Concrete¢ç has been accepted by the U.S. Army as a performance equivalent of SACON¢ç that meets or exceeds the requirements for SACON ¢ç. Amidon Ballistic Concrete¢ç is environmentally friendly, containing additives which prevent lead leaching.
