SwiftComp¢â is a general-purpose multiscale modeling code that enables users to model composites as quickly and easily as metals, without losing accuracy. It can be used either independently as a tool for virtual testing of composites or as a plugin to power conventional FEA codes with high-fidelity multiscale modeling for composites. SwiftComp provides unified modeling for 1D (beams), 2D (plates/shells), and 3D structures, linking micromechanics and structural mechanics. It saves orders of magnitude in computing time and resources with accuracy comparable to first principle 3D FEA, while enabling engineers to tackle complex problems impossible with other tools. VABS¢â is a general-purpose cross-sectional analysis tool for computing properties and recovering 3D fields of slender composite structures. It is a tool of choice for modeling composite helicopter and wind turbine rotor blades, as well as other slender composite parts, such as propellers and high-aspect ratio wings.
Our engineering software enables the efficient, yet accurate modeling of composite materials and structures. The software enables the accuracy of detailed 3D FEA (finite element analysis) at the efficiency of simple engineering models, reducing analysis time from hours to seconds without a loss of accuracy.
