Geri-Fit¢ç is a tier III, evidence-based health promotion exercise program for older adults. The program is licensed to senior centers, non-profits, AAAs, and other locations that offer group exercise classes to the public. The Geri-Fit Company provides three components of business services: 1 Licensing to facilities and governing organizations such as senior centers and Area Agencies on Aging; 2 Licensing to instructors and companies furnishing instructors to facilities; 3 Provider of accredited continuing education courses to group exercise instructors, personal fitness trainers, caregivers, nurses, caregivers, ,PTs and OTs
Facility may furnish dumbbell weights ranging in size from 1 pound and up to 10 pounds, or participants can bring their own to class. Geri-Bands (stretch) bands may be purchased at wholesale prices through Geri-Fit Company.
