Orbital space debris from space launches, satellite systems, and space collisions has resulted in over 21,000 man made objects larger than 10cm primarily in low earth orbit that are causing extreme risk to national security, global communications, and human space flight. Privateer offers an artificial satellite solution with capability to deorbit and remove space debris including existing inaccessible or incommunicative satellites in low earth and medium earth orbit. Capability to remove from GEO is expected in 2024.

Our space flown and tested approach provides a way to remove space debris using an artificial satellite capable of maneuvering in LEO and MEO orbits. Privateer technology uses computer vision to locate space debris or target objects and safely and predictively deorbit those objects.
