NER has a unique and versatile rock properties analysis laboratory. With eight servo-controlled test frames for measurements of deformation, velocity, permeability, and electrical resistivity, core analyses are conducted at in situ conditions.
NER has developed and utilized special equipment to examine the variability in rocks and soils at scales from 1 mm to 10 cm. This equipment, along with interpretation software, provides a service that is not available at other small companies.
